The Insane Asylum | PanIQ Room in Boston, MA

We are in Boston @ PanIQ Room. The room difficulty is hard. If you are a seasoned escape artist, you should do well. Once you get past the first puzzle (which is the hardest), the rest flows nicely.

The lobby was nicely decorated and bright which really helped set the mood because once we left that area we were taken through institutional-looking corridors and through stairways. It was, in a sense, disorienting because it was unexpected.  If you watch their trailer you get glimpses into the room. There are blood-stained walls in the first room. The feeling of something ominous happened follows throughput. I said the first home had one of the trickiest puzzles to solve, but there are plenty more challenging ones once you get through.

We escaped with 16 minutes to spare.

Our game master was fantastic!!!

THE DETAILS

Synopsis from PanIQ: The year is 1956... or is it? With all you’ve experienced in recent weeks, it’s hard to trust even that. You went to sleep once night, and woke up here at Overbrook Hospital. The place promises care and peace for the mentally ill, but all you’ve received is manipulation, experimentation, and a heavy supply of drugs. Besides that, you’re not insane, and never have been. The whole place is a ruse, devised to cover the mind-control experiments of a group of twisted scientists.

However, you won’t allow them to use you any longer. A situation at the other side of the hospital has diverted the staff’s watching eyes. It is the perfect chance for escape, and it may be your last. Find the medicines needed to restore your senses before finding your way out of this living nightmare before your mind is lost forever.
