Our last room for 2021 was at Escapology in Trumbull, CT. This was our first time visiting and all the rooms sounded good but ultimately decided on their premium room, Scooby-Doo and the Spooky Castle Adventure. It was challenging yet escapable. Nice mix of puzzle types and higher-end electronics. I liked their timing method...3 free hints. Any other hints added time to your final score. With 3 of us, we finished with a little over a minute left and used 2 hints.
The game starts off locked inside a room. My mom thought it was reminiscent of old movies where for guests to meet their hosts. This is where you begin the journey to find the monster lab. It is really cool and for us, lots of new puzzle types. The high-quality decor and puzzles carry throughout the game.
We will be back in 2022!
